Structures that endure — architecture designed with rigour, sensitivity and purpose for residences, commercial spaces, institutions, and landmark buildings across South India.
Architecture at VAID begins with the land and the brief — understanding context, climate, and the lives the building must sustain before a single line is drawn. We believe that great buildings hold their purpose with quiet confidence: structurally sound, spatially generous, and rooted in their place.
Every floor plan, every elevation, every material choice is tested against function first, then against beauty. The result is architecture that endures — not as spectacle, but as a backdrop to life lived well.
Explore Our Work →A studio with 17 years of built projects across residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial typologies — with senior-level design attention on every engagement from brief to completion.
Every project begins with a thorough reading of its site — orientation, topography, local climate, and context. We do not apply a style; we develop a response that belongs precisely where it stands.
Our working drawings are produced to fabrication standard — fully coordinated structural, MEP, and architectural drawings that leave no ambiguity for contractors and reduce costly site variations.
From a 53-acre farmhouse in North Carolina to a 50-bed hospital in Sangareddy — our portfolio spans nine typologies across five states, giving us pattern recognition that single-typology firms cannot match.
17+ years of working with GHMC, DTCP, HMDA, and other authorities means we understand local regulations thoroughly and prepare submissions that move through approvals with minimal revision cycles.
We work across nine distinct building typologies — bringing the same rigour, sensitivity, and craft to every category. Each project receives a design narrative rooted in its programme, its site, and its users.
A structured five-stage process that gives your project clarity, precision, and creative ambition — from the first site visit to final handover.
Topographic survey, solar study, drainage assessment, local by-law review, and brief workshops — understanding every constraint before design begins.
Floor plan options, massing studies, and 3D visualisations — translating the brief into spatial concepts for client review and alignment.
Detailed elevations, section drawings, material specifications, and structural coordination — resolving every design decision before statutory submission.
Full construction documentation — architectural, structural, MEP drawings, BOQ, and specifications — all coordinated and ready for contractor tender.
Regular site visits, quality audits, and RFI resolution — ensuring the built outcome matches the design intent at every stage of construction.
VAID designs across nine typologies: high-rise apartments, commercial buildings, farm houses, gated community villas, hospitals, industrial facilities, educational institutions, restaurants, and sports complexes. Each project receives a design narrative specific to its brief, site, and user.
Schematic design typically takes 4–8 weeks; design development and working drawings a further 8–12 weeks. Construction timelines vary by scale — a residence may take 12–18 months; a large institutional or commercial project 24–36 months. We provide a detailed project schedule at the outset of every engagement.
Yes. We prepare all drawings required for GHMC, DTCP, HMDA, and other applicable authority submissions, and coordinate with approved consultants through to sanction. Our 17+ years in Hyderabad means we understand local by-laws, setback requirements, and FSI regulations thoroughly.
Sustainability is embedded from the site analysis stage — passive ventilation, solar orientation, shading devices, and water harvesting are standard considerations. For projects seeking IGBC or GRIHA ratings, we prepare the necessary documentation and work with approved raters.
Minor modifications are manageable with a formal change order that documents scope, cost, and timeline impact. Major structural or spatial changes mid-construction are costly and disruptive — which is why we invest heavily in design development and client alignment before any site work begins.
